A: Most likely, this is because you installed noteGRABBER into a custom folder.
DAWs typically require plugins to be installed in the VST3 folder to be visible.
Try reinstalling noteGRABBER into one of these folders:
- `C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3`
- `C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3`
After doing so, your DAW should recognize the plugin.
A: Go into Program Files > Common Files > VST3, and find the noteGRABBER VST3 file (see below)
Double click and open the noteGRABBER VST3 file.
You will see files inside (see below for reference).
Copy and paste these files into the original VST3 folder:
Rescan, and FL Studio should find noteGRABBER.
A: Try disabling and then re-enabling the noteGRABBER plugin in Reason's "Manage Plugins" window as shown below:
A: noteGRABBER only works on Stereo channels. If you try adding it onto a Mono channel, it won't show up. So make sure the channel you're adding it onto isn't a mono channel :).
A: This is likely a video card issue. Try updating your graphics card and retrying.

A: This is likely due to an internet connection issue. You must be connected to the internet when activating. Try running your DAW in Admin Mode. And turn off any VPN. You may need to check your DAW permissions to see if it has been restricted internet access. As well, your anti-virus may be restricting your DAW from connecting to the internet.
A: This means your system clock is out of sync with the server. To solve this, go into your computer settings, and set your clock so your computer sets the time automatically. After activation, feel free to change your clock settings.
A: Make sure you select the notes BEFORE you try to drag and drop. Once you select at least one note, the 'Drag' feature will become available.
A: Make sure the 'Record' button is turned OFF before trying to select notes.
A: Try dragging the notes into your DAW's piano roll directly. Some DAWs can be finnicky with where they allow MIDI to be dropped.
A: It is $49.

A: No, noteGRABBER works right out of the box with your DAW. You don’t need any additional software or plugins to use it.
A: noteGRABBER can only be installed on one computer for now (this will be updated for version 2). If you need to transfer it to another device, please contact support at nav@notegrabber.com for assistance.
A: No, once installed, noteGRABBER works offline without requiring an internet connection. However, you may need internet access for initial activation and updates.
A: I am constantly improving noteGRABBER based on user feedback. You will receive notifications when a new update is available.
