Need Help?
A: This might be because you installed noteGRABBER into a custom folder.
DAWs typically require plugins to be installed in the VST3 folder to be visible.
Try reinstalling noteGRABBER into one of these folders:
- `C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3`
- `C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3`
Or, on Mac
MacintoshHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
After doing so, your DAW should recognize the plugin.
For DAW specific help, keep reading below.
A: Go into Program Files > Common Files > VST3, and find the noteGRABBER VST3 file (see below)
Double click and open the noteGRABBER VST3 file.
You will see files inside (see below).
Copy and paste these files into the original VST3 folder:
Rescan, and FL Studio should find noteGRABBER.
A: Try disabling and then re-enabling the noteGRABBER plugin in Reason's "Manage Plugins" window as shown below:
A: noteGRABBER only works on Stereo channels. If you try adding it onto a Mono channel in Logic, it won't show up. So make sure the channel you're adding it onto isn't a mono channel :).
A: This is likely an install issue. Try uninstalling, and reinstalling noteGRABBER.
A: This is likely happening because noteGRABBER1 and noteGRABBER2 use the same key. So if you used up your trial for noteGRABBER1, there won't be any more days left for noteGRABBER2.
If you still want to try it out, I do offer a 1 year refund window. So you can buy it, and if you don't like it, just email me at nav @ notegrabber.com and I can refund you.
A: Here is a video explaining how to fix it:

A: You have entered the license key incorrectly. Make sure you're not adding in any additional spaces, or anything else.
A: This is likely due to an internet connection issue. You must be connected to the internet when activating. Try running your DAW in Admin Mode. And turn off any VPN. You may need to check your DAW permissions to see if it has been restricted internet access. As well, your anti-virus may be restricting your DAW from connecting to the internet.
As well, make sure to restart your computer first.
A: This is a license usage issue. Just email me at nav@notegrabber.com and I will reset your license for you!
A: This means your system clock is out of sync with the server. To solve this, go into your computer settings, and set your clock so your computer sets the time automatically. After activation, feel free to change your clock settings.
A: Make sure the 'Record' button is turned OFF before trying to select notes.
A: Make sure you select notes BEFORE you try to drag and drop. Once you select at least one note, the 'Drag' feature will become available.
A: Try dragging the notes into your DAW's piano roll directly. Some DAWs can be finnicky with where they allow MIDI to be dropped.
A: This is happening because the DAW is suspending plugin processing due to your project settings. There should be a toggle somewhere in the DAW preferences that can switch this off, a different track type (depending on the DAW you use).
A: Simply uninstall noteGRABBER1, restart your computer, download noteGRABBER2 (found at https://www.notegrabber.com/thankyou-b), install it, and use the same key you were given for noteGRABBER1!

A: It is $69.
A: It works on every major DAW, including Ableton, Logic Pro, FL Studio, GarageBand, Reaper, Cubase, Bitwig, Studio One, Maschine, Serato Studio, and more!
The only major DAW it does not work for is Pro Tools and MPC.
A: You have 14 days to try it out. After which, it locks and you will need to purchase it to use it.
A: I offer a 1 year refund guarantee on noteGRABBER.
A: Mac OS X 10.12 or higher
Windows 10 or higher
At least 50 MB of free drive space
An internet connection (just to activate it once)
That's it!
A: Check your spam folder. Wait for an hour or two, if you still haven't received it please email: nav@notegrabber.com
